Kellogg's Rice Krispies Konverters
These Tranformer-esque Rice Krispies 'Konverters' from yesteryear are one of my favourite cereal box premiums. Indeed, I can still remember checking the post everyday as I impatiently waited for these things to come. Admittedly the originals were lost a long time ago but I managed to pick up this untouched and complete set for under a couple of quid on eBay - the sort of thing that happens when I'm bored and aimlesssly surfing the net.

'Un-konverted', each of the toys is designed to resemble a miniature Rice Krispies box with one side sporting the cereals fabulous 90's artwork. Applying the various stickers and following the conversion process as per the instructions, the cereal boxes transform into their respective vehicles. Personally I think they all look good but, if I had to rank them, I would say that Snap's Racing Car is my favourite based on its fairly interesting conversion and lovely sticker artwork - the Kellogg's Rice Krispies sticker on the rear is particularly nice. Crackles Space Jet comes very close in second with a fun look and, again, an interesting transformation, whilst Pop's Hovercraft comes third due to its comparatively straight forward design.
All in all, I loved the inclusion of the brand characters in the vehicle designs and the way in which each 'konversion' was very different. Indeed, these make for great collector's items and are fun for kids to play with - I just wish they were still doing stuff like this today.
